Sarah Yassine is a registered psychologist providing telehealth services to individuals across Australia, with a particular interest in perinatal and family mental health. Sarah works with clients presenting with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and interpersonal difficulties, and has a strong interest in the psychological and emotional transitions associated with pregnancy, early parenthood, and broader life changes.
Sarah supports clients via telehealth and is committed to improving access to psychological care for individuals and families, particularly those in regional and remote areas. She recognises the practical barriers many people face in attending in-person appointments, including geographical distance, time constraints, and caregiving responsibilities. Telehealth offers a flexible and accessible alternative, allowing clients to engage in therapy from their own environment while maintaining continuity of care. Sarah is experienced in delivering effective, evidence-based interventions online and prioritises the development of a strong therapeutic alliance within this format.
Her clinical approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, including CBT and ACT and is informed by a broader mind–body perspective. She supports clients to develop insight into their internal experiences while also identifying values and building practical strategies to support meaningful behavioural change. While her clinical interest includes the perinatal period, Sarah works with individuals across the lifespan and with a broad range of presentations.
Sarah was drawn to working with GLOW due to its strong alignment with her values around accessible, client-centred care. As a telehealth practitioner, she values being part of a service that prioritises flexibility and reduces barriers to support, while also supporting individuals and families across key life stages, particularly within the perinatal period.
In addition to her work as a psychologist, Sarah is a yoga teacher, which informs her understanding of the relationship between physical and psychological wellbeing. Where appropriate, she integrates elements of mindfulness and nervous system awareness into her work.
As a parent herself, Sarah brings a practical understanding of the demands of modern life and aims to provide a therapeutic space that is collaborative, respectful, and focused on achievable, sustainable outcomes.
